Emotional Freedom Technique
Emotional Freedom Technique commonly known as tapping or EFT Tapping, is a therapeutic technique that combines psychotherapy and acupressure, bringing together elements of exposure, cognitive therapy and somatic stimulation.
The technique consists of gentle tapping on key acupuncture points while tuning into an issue, this could be an unhappy memory, limiting belief, stress, physical pain or fear to name a few.
Effectiveness has been established and scientifically proven for PSTD, phobias, anxiety, depression, pain and more.
In a session the therapist and client will work together to find out the core events that are contributing to how the client is feeling. Then the focus will turn towards processing and releasing any unresolved emotions that the client may be holding on to.
